Come join us for the 4th Annual Jeff Pedro Memorial and Bocce Tournament from 1:00-5:00pm on Saturday October 18th, 2025, at the Bella Villa Hall. (2625 County Line Rd. Kettering, Ohio 45430)
Jeff truly valued his time with family and friends, so please help us keep his memory alive by joining us on this special day. All proceeds will benefit The Jeff Pedro Scholarship Fund for the Boys and Girls Club.
Memorial Tickets- $45 – Ticket includes dinner, beverages provided by Crooked Handle Brewing Co., and an entry ticket to win a gift basket of your choice from local business donations.
Bocce Tournament- $300 (per team) – Bocce Tournament teams will have 4 people and includes a 3-game minimum plus a lunch ticket, a dinner ticket, an entry ticket to win a gift basket of your choice and select beverages. The Pedro Family established the Jeff Pedro Scholarship Fund in 2022 to memorialize and shine light on Jeff’s life. With your help Jeff’s legacy will continue to make a positive impact on youth in Kettering and Massillon Ohio. Jeff grew up in Massillon and was a Massillon Tiger at heart. He also spent decades coaching football for the youth of Kettering, supporting his love for the game and mentoring young men. To date the Jeff Pedro Scholarship Fund has raised $56,000! As a Police Officer for the City of Kettering, Jeff made an impact on his fellow officers and his community during his 25 years of service. Jeff was a renowned trainer in defensive tactics and firearms in Ohio. He carried his vast knowledge to the civilian community when he opened Sim Trainer Indoor Range and Firearms Training Center in 2001. Sim trainer carries on his legacy today with the staff that he mentored. Though the number can’t be quantified, Jeff undoubtedly saved lives through his decades of instruction to civilians and police officers.
