This year is the inaugural celebration of National Shooting Sports Month!
The National Shooting Sports Foundation is encouraging all shooters to take time this month to introduce others to the shooting sports! To help with this, they’ve created a comprehensive list of nationwide events that can be searched to find what’s going on this month in your area. SimTrainer is going to host some special events specifically for the month of August. On the calendar, so far, we’ve scheduled a session of Second Round Rifle, a Cowboy Action Shoot, and a College Night event! This special session of Second Round Rifle will be open to anyone interested in the shooting sports, even if they have not completed our First Shots class. Speaking of First Shots though, inviting someone to a First Shots session is a great way to get them involved in the shooting sports here at SimTrainer! We have two sessions scheduled for August as of now, but if there is enough interest we would certainly be willing to schedule a third session.
You can register for Second Round Rifle on the 30th, from 6 pm to 9 pm, by clicking HERE!
College Night will be August 23rd, also from 6 pm to 9 pm. The charge to students will be $25 – you can find more information and register for that event HERE.
The Cowboy Action Shoot will be held Aug 29th, from 5 pm – 9 pm, and will only cost $25. This course will involve shooting a .38 lever action rifle, coach shotgun and single action revolvers at steel targets. The targets will be set up within a western-themed backdrop to add excitement and realism to this unique shooting experience.
