Introduction to M4/AR Rifle

Course content will include:
- Firearm safety
- Weapon nomenclature
- Functional operation of M4 rifles
- Loading, unloading and clearing malfunctions
- Carry and shooting positions
- Weapon zeroing using iron sights
- Discussion of available optics
- Shooting proficiency
- Cleaning, care and maintenance tips
This course is for those inexperienced in the operation of AR-15/M-4 variant rifles. Students will need a M4/AR variant rifle, at least two magazines, ear and eye protection, and 100 rounds of .223/5.56 ammo to complete the course. Students can rent a rifle for $25 if they do not have their own. Due to the high demand for this course, we will only accept the first 10 students who register and pre-pay at least one week prior to class start…first come, first served.
Note: The content of this class can also be covered in a private lesson at the rate of $65/hour for or $50/person for groups of 2-4. Course length will typically be about 2-3 hours to cover the same content with an individual or small group, so the cost is approximately the same.
