Law Enforcement Firearms Re-Qualification

Pre-registration and pre-payment or submission of a departmental purchase order are required for enrollment.
This course satisfies the requirement for annual re-qualification for active and retired law enforcement personnel. It is conducted by OPOTA-certified instructors using the OPOTA 25-round re-qualification course of fire. The course of fire must be shot with the firearm the individual intends to actually carry. The course of fire consists of shooting from distances of 4, 9, 12, 20, 40 and 50 feet, and it requires defensive position hip shooting, one-handed shooting with both the strong and weak hands, and two-handed point shoulder shooting. All stages begin with a holstered firearm. Upon successful completion, participants will be given both paper and laminated wallet-sized certificates.
Participants must provide their own firearm, at least two magazines and a holster. Factory loaded ammunition can either be provided by the participant or purchased at the range. SimTrainer also has popular firearms and accessories for sale for anyone wishing to purchase them.
Participants will also be given a FREE Associate membership ($75 dollar value) to the range so they can return to practice or shoot recreationally.
